Alena Bartoli


College, Calhoun '01 from Other

Ms. Bartoli is Coordinator of College Advising and International Programs at King's Academy. She received her BA from Yale and her MA from Uppsala University. Ms. Bartoli is the current Alumni Schools Committee Director for Jordan. She has also served stints as ASC Director for Sweden and Vice President of Beijing's Yale Club.

Miss Elizabeth Berger is a recent 2007 graduate of Yale College in the History of Science, History of Medicine. She is working alongside Alena Bartoli at King's Academy, as teaching fellow in Mathematics. She is excited to be working with Y.A.A.A for the first time and looks forward to meeting Yalies throughout the world. Go Bulldogs!

Natalie Howe


College, Saybrook '01 from United States

I studied Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry at Yale, and since then I have done graduate work at UPenn in Environmental Studies. Now I am a chemistry teacher at King's Academy in Manja, Jordan, with Alena Bartoli (CC'01) and Elizabeth Berger (SY'07), and am excited about interviewing prospective Yalies this fall.

Alex Boston

I am currently working as the Country Director of the Peace Corps program in Jordan - the only Peace Corps program in the Middle East. Since moving to Jordan from the Kyrgyz Republic, where I was also Country Director, I have been responsible for managing the the Peace Corps' country office in Amman, overseeing administrative and technical staff and the management and safety of volunteers. I joined Peace Corps after a career in Foreign Service, during which I served as a Foreign Service Officer in Peshawar, Pakistan and San Salvador, El Salvador.
